ADEN, Oct. 29 (YPA) – All power stations in the southern Yemeni city of Aden were stopped on Saturday, with no response from the government loyal to the Saudi-led coalition or the leaders of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council.
According to informed sources at the city’s electricity corporation, all stations were out of operation except the PetroMasila station due to a lack of fuel, a calamity that occurs on a regular basis despite ongoing demands to acquire fuel.
The sources stated that the PetroMasila is still operating on a limited basis, resulting in a major deficit in service provision amid forecasts that power outages will extend to around 15 hours in exchange for two hours.
