Torrential rains cut off international road linking Abyan, Shabwa, Hadramout provinces

ABYAN, Oct. 28 (YPA) – The International Coastal Road linking Abyan and the provinces of Shabwa and Hadramaut was cut off during the past hours, local sources reported.

The sources said that torrential rains cut the international line in the coastal area of Ahoar on Friday, which is under the effects of Typhoon Tig, indicating that the rainfall left three injuries due to the collapse of a wall on thatched houses inhabited by displaced people from Mawdiyah and Hodeidah.

The sources described the injury of displaced citizens as serious after they were transferred to one of the health centers, without providing any food and shelter assistance by the coalition authorities to the victims of Typhoon Tig in the coastal directorates of Abyan.
