Tariq Saleh pushes Al-Maqtara’s sons to confront Islah militants in Lahj

LAHJ, Oct. 27 (YPA) – Dozens of notables from Al-Maqtara district of province, south of Yemen, loyal to “Tariq Saleh”, nephew of the former president Ali Abdullah Saleh, gathered to face violations of the Islah military factions in the province.

In a meeting, ednesday, the notables warned the leadership of the “4th Jabali Infantry Brigade” affiliated with Islah Party, which controls the province, of the consequences of dragging the region into a zone of violence as a result of the brigade’s gunmen storming a number of homes and kidnapping a number of citizens.

They called on the coalition-backed government to work to release the kidnappers and stand firmly in the face of Islah militants’ violations in the province.
The meeting held the leadership of Islah Party fully responsible for the local tension in the district and its neglect of all efforts made to release the kidnapped.
