HADRMOUT, Oct. 24 (YPA) – Coasts of Mahra and Hadramout provinces, east of Yemen, are still under the effect of the cyclonic storm (Tej), and it is expected to decline into a depression in the coming hours.
According to the National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning, the Storm Tej cut off the coast of our country in the south of Al-Ghaydah as a very severe storm with wind speeds between 125 and 135 kilometers per hour.
The center stated in its emergency bulletin on Tuesday that cloudy skies with continued rainfall of varying intensity would expected, accompanied by thunderstorms, in Mahra and parts of Hadramout and Shabwa provinces.
It pointed out the possibility of active to strong winds blowing on the eastern coasts and adjacent areas, with speeds ranging from 20 to 50 knots.
