Syria, Lebanon reject displacement of Palestinian people or liquidation of their just cause

DAMASCUS, Oct. 23 (YPA) – Syria and Lebanon affirmed on Monday their categorical rejection of any attempts to displace the Palestinian people or liquidate their just cause.

The foreign ministries of the two countries stressed in a joint statement the necessity of implementing the relevant international legitimacy resolutions, ending the Zionist occupation of the occupied Arab territories in Palestine, Lebanon and the Syrian Golan, and establishing the Palestinian state with Al-Quds city as its capital.

According to the Syrian News Agency, the Syrian Foreign Minister Faisal Al-Miqdad met on Monday with his Lebanese counterpart Abdullah Bou Habib and his accompanying delegation, where both sides condemned the systematic Zionist aggression against the Palestinian people.

They emphasized the need to stop the Zionist aggression immediately, put an end to war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by the Zionist entity, and work for the immediate and unconditional entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza.
