Gaza witnesses cemetery crisis due to large number of martyrs

GAZA, Oct. 23 (YPA) – Palestinian sources confirmed on Sunday the existence of a cemetery crisis in the Gaza Strip as a result of the significant increase in the number of martyrs.

The sources said that all available cemeteries in Gaza were filled with martyrs, noting that many Gazans are forced to bury the bodies of their relatives next to their homes as a result of their inability to find graves.

Earlier today, the spokesman for the Ministry of Health, Ashraf Al-Qudra, explained that the Zionist enemy had committed 23 massacres in the past hours, claiming the lives of 436 martyrs, including 182 children, the majority of whom were from the south of the Gaza Strip.

Al-Qudra stated that the massacres committed by the Zionist enemy against families amounted to 597 massacres, claiming the lives of 3,813 martyrs, the largest number of whom are still under the rubble.

The spokesman confirmed that the total number of victims of the Zionist aggression since the beginning of the aggression against Gaza amounted to 5,087 martyrs, including 2,055 children, 1,119 women, and 217 elderly people, in addition to 15,273 citizens suffering various injuries.
