Yemeni riyal hits new low against foreign currencies in Aden

SANAA, Oct. 23 (YPA) – The Yemeni riyal’s exchange rate continued to drop dramatically against foreign currencies, hitting a new low in Aden province and other Saudi-led coalition-controlled areas on Monday.

In Aden, the US dollar exchange rate hit 1,485 Yemeni riyals, while the Saudi riyal reached 391 riyals.

On another hand, the Yemeni riyal exchange in areas under Sanaa government control maintained stability at 529.5 riyals to the US dollar and 140.5 riyals to the Saudi riyal.
