Pro-coalition commander injured in Taiz

TAIZ, Oct. 22 (YPA) – A commander loyal to the Saudi-led coalition was injured on Sunday in assassination attempt in the city of Taiz.

Sources familiar with the matter reported that one of the unknown gunmen opened fire on the so-called staff of the “35th Brigade,” Mohammed Yahya Jaber Al-Jaifi, in Al-Ain Market, the center of Al-Mawasit district, and fled.

The sources added that the UAE-backed leader Ammar Saleh was accused, through his cells in the coalition-held city, of being behind the attempt to target Al-Jaifi.
