UAE-backed gunmen storm Finance Office of Interior Ministry in Aden

ADEN, Oct. 22 (YPA) – Gunmen loyal to the UAE stormed on Sunday the Finance Office of the Ministry of Interior in the coalition government in Aden province, southern Yemen, local sources told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the sources, tensions broke out between officials that led to storming office of director of the Ministry’s Finance Affairs Office, Nayef Mohsen Al-Humidi, in Al-Nasr area of Khor Maksar district, indicating that the Ministry’s headquarters is witnessing armed tensions that portend armed confrontations in the coming hours, without mentioning the reasons.

The sources confirmed that the militants loyal to the UAE have removed the finance staff from their offices.
