US intends to withdraw artillery shells from Ukraine to send them to “Israel”

WORLD, Oct. 20 (YPA) – The Pentagon intended to send tens of thousands of 155mm artillery shells to Israel, after they were originally intended for Ukraine, according to Israeli officials.

The Israeli officials told “Axios” that the Israeli enemy’s Defense Ministry informed the United States of the urgent need for artillery shells in preparation for the ground invasion of the Gaza Strip and to confront any possible escalation with the Lebanese Hezbollah.

The US officials said it was likely that diverting the missiles to the Israeli would have an “immediate impact” on Ukraine’s combat capability.

Starting in early 2023, the United States began withdrawing 155mm artillery shells from its large stockpiles held by  “Israel” with the aim of sending them to Ukraine.

However, it is unclear whether US military supplies to Ukraine could be increased if the war between Israel and the “Palestinian resistance” turns into a broader regional conflict.
