Haniyeh: the battle could turn into a regional
GAZA, Oct. 20 (YPA) -The Head of Hamas’ Political Bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, said Thursday evening that the continuation of Zionist aggression and bloodshed could turn into a regional battle.
The Palestinian Ma’an news agency quoted Haniyeh as saying: “We warned everyone that this battle could turn into a regional battle if the aggression and destruction continues, and that its continuation and spilling of blood would explode all equations and plans on the Palestinian and regional levels.”
Haniyeh affirmed that ” the resistance is still controlling pace of battle despite the occupier’s brutal crimes.”
He added, “The US administration has failed to provide international and regional support for the aggression and adapt the official Arab position to accept displacement.”
Haniyeh praised the Arab and Islamic positions, especially the Egyptian position, towards the issue of the displacement of Palestinians.
“We see the breaking of the wave of the malicious displacement plan,” he said.
The head of Hamas’ political bureau concluded his speech by saying: “We assured everyone that the solution lies in the departure of the occupation and that the Palestinian people to enjoy their freedom.”
He called for speeding up the delivery of aid to the people of Gaza because it is a humanitarian disaster.
