Yemeni riyal records new low against foreign currencies in Aden

SANAA, Oct. 19 (YPA) – The Yemeni riyal’s exchange rate hit a new low against foreign currencies in Aden and other Saudi-led coalition-controlled areas on Thursday.

In Aden, the US dollar exchange rate hit 1,470 Yemeni riyals, while the Saudi riyal reached 387.50 riyals.

Meanwhile, the Yemeni riyal exchange in areas under Sanaa government control maintained its relative stability at 528 riyals to the US dollar and 140 riyals to the Saudi riyal.
