Civilian injured due to blast of ordnance from coalition leftovers in Marib

MARIB, Oct. 17 (YPA) – One civilian was injured on Tuesday by unexploded ordnance in Yemen’s Marib province, local sources said.

According to local sources in the province, an explosive remnant leftover from the Saudi-led coalition forces in Sirwah district exploded and injured the citizen Naji Ali Haydara Maqbool.

The explosion led to the amputation of his left foot, one of the sources said

Earlier in the day, one school pupil was killed and two others were wounded as a result of the explosion of war leftovers in the border areas of Saada province, northern Yemen.
