UAE-backed factions launch arrest campaign against number of people in Shabwa

SHABWA, Oct. 15 (YPA) – The UAE-backed factions launched a large-scale arrest campaign against citizens in al-Saaid district of Shabwa governorate, eastern Yemen.

Local sources reported that groups belonging to “Shabwa defense” factions affiliated with Abu Dhabi raided dozens of houses and arrested a number of people on charges of communicating with Islah forces.

The sources pointed out that the “Shabwa defense” factions transferred the detainees to their own prison in the city of Ataq, the center of Shabwa province.
