EC declares its support to impose Zionist siege on Gaza

SANAA, Oct. 12 (YPA) – Eric Mamer, the European Commission (EC)’s chief spokesman, stated on Thursday that the Commission cannot condemn the Zionist siege of the Gaza Strip, calling on Tel Aviv to “observe international law.”

“The European Commission cannot condemn the Zionist siege of the Gaza Strip, including stopping the supply of water, electricity and fuel to all residents of the Strip,” Mamer said in response to European journalists in Brussels on Thursday.

An Italian journalist reported at the conference that President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen accused Russia in October 2022 of carrying out strikes on Ukrainian infrastructure, describing them as “war crimes.”
