Palestinian resistance confronts Zionist enemy forces in Jenin

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Oct. 12 (YPA) – Armed clashes and violent confrontations broke out at dawn Thursday when the Zionist enemy forces stormed several neighborhoods and areas in the city of Jenin, in the northern West Bank.

Al-Quds Brigades announced that its fighters in the Jenin Battalion targeted the Zionist enemy soldiers on the Basateen axis with dense, successive volleys of bullets.

The brigades added that their fighters responded to the intrusion on Nazareth Street with bullets and explosive devices, in addition to the Mujahideen of the Jaba Battalion engaging in violent and direct clashes with the occupation forces in the eastern neighborhood, the Al-Haraiq axis, and the Al-Zakam axis.

Palestinian sources said that the enemy army stormed the Al-Jabriyat and Al-Bayader neighborhoods in the city of Jenin before confrontations broke out with citizens, including gunfire.

The sources added that three Palestinians were injured by enemy bullets during the confrontations in the city of Jenin, while the enemy army pushed military reinforcements and vehicles into the city.

A number of citizens suffocated as a result of enemy soldiers firing a lot of tear gas bombs towards Palestinian homes in areas that witnessed confrontations, according to the sources.

The enemy army launched a campaign of arrests and searches of the homes of Palestinian citizens, which resulted in the arrest of more than five citizens. Among them are liberated prisoners.
