Israeli elite forces’ commander killed by Palestinian resistance fighter

GAZA, Oct. 08 (YPA) – The Zionist enemy media have revealed that the commander of the elite forces, Yonatan Steinberg, or the so-called “Nahal” Brigade, was killed on Saturday in a confrontation with a resistance fighter near Kerem Shalom.

The “Nahal” Brigade is one of the so-called “Elite” brigades of the Israeli enemy forces, which is an infantry battalion.

On Saturday, the enemy media acknowledged the killing of 300 settlers and soldiers from the enemy army since the beginning of the “Aqsa Storm” battle, according to the Palestine Today Agency.

The Israeli occupation media reported that the number of Zionist deaths had risen to 300, in addition to more than 1,452 wounded, including 285 in very critical condition.

The Palestinian resistance in the Gaza Strip launched thousands of rockets of different ranges and sizes towards the occupied towns, including the city of Tel Aviv, coinciding with the start of the battle.

Hundreds of resistance fighters stormed the Zionist settlements in the “Gaza envelope.” A number of settlers and soldiers were killed inside the occupied towns and military sites, and dozens were captured and dragged towards the Gaza Strip. Video scenes were shown documenting the storming process.
