STC announces its fears of Saudi-funded forces in Aden

ADEN, Oct. 03 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) announced its fears of the Saudi-funded Dara al-Watan forces, which are supervised by the so-called head of the “Presidential Leadership Council,” Rashad Al-Alimi.

Some leaders in the STC published mounting fears within the their council that Aden would fall into the hands of Dara al-Watan forces.

Nasser Al-Khulaifi, a leader in the STC said that he renewed the warning of a new Saudi plan to besiege the south and overthrow a city, indicating in his post on X that the situation has become very dangerous and required a quick stance.

Al-Khulaifi was commenting on Saudi Arabia’s resumption of the recruitment process into the ranks of the factions loyal to it in southern Yemen, known as “Dara al-Watan.”
