Jordanian minister causes outrage amongst Saudis

SANAA, July 7 (YPA- A Jordanian minister caused anger among the Saudis, after posting an announcement about jobs for Jordanian Young men who seek for jobs, in his Twitter official account.

In a tweet, The Jordanian Minister of communications, Muthana Gharaibeh announced that there are jobs in Saudi Arabia for Jordanian youth in information technology field.

In response to the minister, the Saudis expressed their displeasure and anger towards the Jordanian minister’s announcement of jobs for his compatriots in a country where his youth is suffering from severe unemployment.

Saudis said that the unemployed Saudi youth deserve these jobs instead of attracting other nationalities.

Others said that the announcement by Minister Muthana Gharaibeh came after the “Mecca” summit, in which King Salman bin Abdul Aziz and his son, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman promised to provide jobs for Jordanians.
