President Al-Mashat lays foundation stone for Sanaa Medical City project

SANAA, Sept. 24 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, on Sunday laid the foundation stone for the Sanaa Medical City project in Mathbah area in the capital Sanaa.

The laying of the foundation stone for the project comes on the occasion of the celebration of the ninth anniversary of the September 21 Revolution and the anniversary of the Prophet’s birthday.

The President stressed the importance of establishing a model medical city to reduce the burdens on patients who want to travel abroad to receive treatment.

He noted the importance of the private sector’s contribution to investing in the health sector and providing facilities in this important aspect.

In this regard, President Al-Mashat directed the relevant authorities to work to overcome the difficulties and obstacles faced by investors in order to improve the performance of this vital and important sector.
