SANAA, July 6 (YPA) – A Tribal senior sheikh loyal to Saudi-led coalition were arrested by allied militiamen in Jawf province, an official told Yemen Press Agency on Friday.
A Saudi-paid commander of so-called 6th military zone, Hashim al-Ahmar arrested sheikh Naji bin Abdul Aziz al-Shayef, in his hometown.
The arrest came after Sheikh al-Shayef was threatened by the commander no to come in Jawf.
The official said that Jawf province has seen a tensing situation and tribal gatherings are flacking to respond to the provocative steps by al-AHmar towards sheikh al-Shayef.
