Pro-coalition government abandons its wounded recruits in Egypt

ADEN, Sept. 14 (YPA) – The Military Medical Committee affiliated with the Ministry of Defense in the “government” loyal to the Saudi-led coalition” directed the committee’s branch in the Republic of Egypt to end its work, stop treatment, and return all the wounded to the country until the end of this September.

According to a memorandum issued by the committee a week ago, this decision came as a result of the lack of access to the budget for treating the wounded abroad and the fact that the committee will not bear any expenses for the wounded starting from September 30, which is the last day of the committee’s work in Egypt.

This move was met with great anger among the wounded fighters undergoing care in the Republic of Egypt, who denounced the pro-coalition government’s abandonment of them.

The wounded recruits held the so-called “Presidential Council”, the Ministry of Defense, the General Staff, and the Military Medical Committee” responsible for the consequences of this decision on their lives.

According to informed sources, most of the wounded are seriously injured; some of them have open wounds; others are in intensive care; and some are in natural treatment centers.
