Public Prosecutor orders release of prisoners in Mahweet

MAHWEET, Sept. 13 (YPA) – The Public Prosecutor, Judge Dr. Muhammad Al-Dailami, on Wednesday ordered the release of a number of prisoners under investigation and execution of custodial sentences who had served three-quarters of their term in prison in Mahweet province.

 These directives came during the Public Prosecutor’s visit to the prosecution offices and prisons in Al-Tawila, Khabat Al-Nuwairah, Hofash, and Al-Madina districts in the province and on the occasion of the anniversary of the Prophet’s birthday.

During the visit, Judge Al-Dailami inspected the progress of the work at the prosecution offices and prisons and the cooperation and coordination between them, the courts, and judicial officers to decide on cases, especially those involving prisoners.
