Putin meets with North Korean leader

WORLD, Sept. 13 (YPA) – Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un met on Wednesday at the Vostochny Space Airport base in Russia’s Amur province.

The North Korean president was briefed on the Angara space rocket complex and the Soyuz rocket launch base.

Putin and Kim Jong-un will conduct negotiations with the participation of delegations, and separately.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said earlier that the two leaders would discuss bilateral cooperation in various areas, as well as regional and international cooperation.

Moreover, Peskov stated Putin and Kim would also discuss “sensitive” issues and exchange views on the situation in the region and international affairs in general.
