Yemeni riyal hits new low against foreign currencies in southern provinces

SANAA, Sept. 10 (YPA) – The Yemeni riyal exchange rate continued to decline on Sunday against foreign currencies in the southern and eastern provinces under the control of the Saudi-led coalition.

The exchange rate of the US dollar in Aden and Hadramout provinces reached 1,472 Yemeni riyals, while the exchange rate of the Saudi riyal hit 388 riyals.

Meanwhile, the riyal exchange stabilized in areas under the control of the Sanaa government at 529.50 riyals to the US dollar and 140.50 riyals to the Saudi riyal.
