Sanaa announces launch of second incentive disbursement to teachers

SANAA, Sept. 04 (YPA) – The Teacher and Education Support Fund in Sanaa launched on Monday the disbursement of the second incentive to teachers in all schools in the provinces under the control of the Sanaa government.

The Executive Director of the Fund, Hussein Jabal, revealed in a press statement that 5,106,180,000 riyals will be disbursed to 159,000 teachers, male and female, in addition to 10,800 volunteers.

“We are ready to pay the incentive to teachers in the liberated areas in both Taiz and Dhalea provinces whenever we receive corrected lists,” he said.

Jabal pointed out that there are problems represented by the absence of personal cards for teachers, their phone numbers having been changed, or their lack of exchange vouchers from their offices.

He added that “the Fund was established in order to support the educational process, and we will do our best to provide what is promoting the educational process.”
