Heat wave expected to sweep different areas of Yemen

SANAA, Sep. 03 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology expected on Sunday hot weather sweeping various areas of Yemen provinces.

In its weather bulletin, the center indicated that the weather would be hot and humid in the coastal areas and the Socotra Archipelago, with maximum temperatures ranging between 34-39 degrees Celsius.

According to the center, parts of the provinces of Dhalea, Taiz, Ibb, Dhamar, Rayma, west of Sanaa, Mahweet, Amran, Hajjah, Saada, may witness rainfall of varying intensity, accompanied by thunderstorms, in aaddtion to Bayda, Lahj, Abyan, and Shabwa, Hadramaut and Mahra.

It warned citizens against being in the valleys and torrential paths as a result of rainfall, calling on the motorists to drive carefully due to low horizontal visibility.
