Yemeni riyal hits new decline against US dollar in southern Yemen

SANAA, Sept. 02 (YPA) – Aden and the rest of the southern and eastern provinces under the control of the Saudi-led coalition witnessed on Saturday a new collapse of the local currency, the Yemeni riyal, against foreign currencies.

The exchange rate of the US dollar in Aden and Hadramout reached 1,470 Yemeni riyals, and the exchange rate of the Saudi riyal reached 388 riyals.

Meanwhile, the currency trading rates in areas under the control of the Sanaa government reached 530 riyals to the US dollar and 140.40 riyals to the Saudi riyal.
