Military commander in Sanaa warns of American presence in eastern provinces of Yemen

SANAA, Sept. 02 (YPA) – The commander of the “Al-Wahbi Brigades” of the Sanaa forces, Major General Bakil Saleh Al-Wahbi, stressed on Friday that the presence of the American forces in the eastern provinces and near the Yemeni territorial waters “will meet a strong Yemeni response.”

Major General Al-Wahbi said that “any presence of foreign forces in any part of Yemen will be a legitimate target for the armed forces at any moment.”

He confirmed that the Yemeni armed forces are ready to implement the directives of the revolutionary and military leadership to direct a strong blow to the invading forces, whether on land, sea, or air.

Major General Al-Wahbi explained that the continued efforts of the Saudi-led coalition countries to bring the negotiations to a dead end would force the government and the Yemeni army to restore the rights of the people by force.

He called for taking into consideration the warnings of the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, affirming that “Saudi Arabia will not enjoy security and stability while the Yemeni people are suffering from the scourge of war, siege, and salary interruption.”
