Cloudy weather accompanied by rain of varying intensity expected in several provinces

SANAA, Sept. 01 (YPA) – The National Meteorology Center expected, on Friday,  a cloudy weather accompanied by rain of varying intensity in a number of provinces during the next 24 hours.

In its weather forecast, the center predicted a cloudy weather accompanied by rain of varying intensity over parts of the provinces of  Taiz, Ibb, Dhalea, Bayda, Dhamar, Raymah, Mahweet, Hajjah, Amran and Saada.

According to the center, scattered rains may be accompanied by thunderstorms to hit parts of the heights of the governorates Lahj, Abyan, Shabwa, Hadramout and Mahra,  in the afternoon and evening.

The center called on citizens not to be in valleys and torrent passages in areas where rain is expected, to take shelter from thunderstorms, and not to use mobile phones.

It warned motorists on mountain roads of low horizontal visibility during rain, and of crossing bridges and underground tunnels during the flow of torrents.
