Southern journalist reveals details of upcoming protests in Socotra

SOCOTRA, Aug 27 (YPA) – Southern journalist Anis Mansour revealed details of upcoming demonstrations that will sweep one of the most important governorates in southern Yemen.

Mansour said in a post on his X account, “There will be mass demonstrations in Socotra against Saudi Arabia. Th mass protests will hold Saudi Arabia responsible for the occupation of the island by the UAE.”

He added, “ We call on Saudi Arabia to take a clear position against Abu Dhabi in Socotra, as their entry into the island through Saudi Arabia under the slogan of humanitarian work and turned into goals, ambitions and other agenda.”
