12-year-old child drowned to death in Arhab

SANAA, Aug. 24 (YPA) – A 12-year-old child died by drowning in a water pool in Arhab district in Sanaa province.

An official source in the Civil Defense Authority of the province stated that the child, Amjad Yahya Sanad, drowned while he was swimming.

The incident came in light of the continued warnings by the Civil Defense Department not to swim in dams, water barriers and ponds, as it is not suitable for swimming.
