SANAA, Aug. 21 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology expects rains of varying intensity in parts of the provinces of Yemen during the coming 24 hours.
In its weather bulletin on Monday, the center affirmed that the rainfall would prevail over the great parts of Saada, Amran, Hajjah, Mahweet, Rayma, Dhamar, Ibb, and Dhalea, in addition to Sanaa, Taiz, Lahj, Bayda, Abyan, Shabwa, Hadramout, and Mahra.
It also expected strong winds, ranging its speed between 20-40 knots, around the Socotra archipelago, and active on the southern and eastern coasts and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab, with a speed reaching between 10-25 knots.
The center warned citizens against being in the valleys and passages of torrential rains in the areas where rain expected.
