SANAA, Aug 15 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology expected on Wednesday the rainy weather sweeping various areas of Yemeni provinces.
The center said, in its daily weather bulletin, that medium and heavy rains will prevail over the Saada, Amran, Hajjah, Mahweet, Sanaa, Rayma, Dhamar, Ibb, Taiz, Dhalea, and Bayda province.
The center indicated that sporadic rain may sometimes be accompanied by thunderstorms in parts of the highlands of Lahj, Abyan, Shabwa, Jawf, Marib, Hadramout, and Mahra.
It is possible that strong to very strong winds will blow around the Socotra archipelago, with speeds ranging between 38-45 knots, and active on the southern and eastern coasts and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab, with speeds reaching between 33-40 knots.
