President Al-Mashat congratulates Lebanon on 17th anniversary of victory in July War

SANAA, Aug 15 (YPA) -.President Mahdi Al-Mashat sent Monday a cable of congratulations to Lebanon, its people and resistance on  the seventeenth anniversary of the victory in the July 2006 war.

“Hezbollah’s confrontation with the Israeli aggression war and its great victory in 2006 proved to all free people the effectiveness  of jihad for the sake of God and resisting the enemies, instead of projects of surrender, subservience and submission,” President Al-Mashat said in his congratulatory cable.

He added: “The Islamic resistance in Lebanon has managed to end the era of defeats, open the time of victories, and grant all the sons of the Islamic nation hope for liberation and independence.”
