China seeks to make breakthrough in “peace process” in Yemen

BEIJING, Aug 13 (YPA) – Beijing said on Sunday it would seek to make more efforts to achieve a breakthrough in the “peace process” in Yemen.

“The Chinese side is preparing to continue coordination and cooperation with all parties to push for a breakthrough in the peace process in Yemen,” the Chinese embassy affirmed on Twitter.

Observers believe that Beijing’s step to start leading a new mediation needs to obtain a green light by the conflicting parties, but the coincidence of this the announcement with indications of the failure of the Omani mediation that indicates to prevent any attempt to escalate the military situation.
