Al-KHOKHA, Aug 10 (YPA) – A court in Khawkha district, south of Hodeida, suspended its work on Wednesday in a criminal department, in protest against the UAE-backed commander Tariq Saleh” obstructing the implementation of judicial rulings.
Human rights sources familiar with the matter revealed that Judge Abd al-Rahman al-Aghbari, the head of the Court of First Instance in the district, announced the suspension of criminal work inside the court in front of all those present until releasing detainees and requiring all “security authorities” to implement the judicial decisions.
Earlier, the court had issued a decision to release seven detainees in Tariq Saleh’s prisons on the Yemen’s West Coast since last April. Which was rejected by the influential and leaders of Tariq Saleh’s forces.
