Pro-coalition government refuses to return to Aden

ADEN, Aug 06 (YPA) – The government loyal to the Saudi-led coalition refused to return to the city of Aden, the most prominent stronghold of the UAE-affiliated factions in southern Yemen, media sources reported on Sunday.

According to media sources, pro-coalition prime minister Moeen Abdul-Malik issued directives not to return to the city before completing the arrangements for securing it.

Last week, Rashad al-Alimi, the head of the coalition’s Presidential Council directed all government ministers to return to Aden to carry out their work from the city.

According to the sources, Moeen demands the departure of all the STC factions from the city, in addition to ending the interference of the head of the STC and his deputy in the government’s  works.
