Islamic Jihad hails Jordan Valley operation against Zionist aggression

RAMALLAH, Aug, 02 (YPA) – The Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine praised on Wednesday the heroic commando operation that was carried out by a Palestinian commando in the Jordan Valley, during which two settlers were wounded.

 “Palestine Today” Agency quoted the spokesman for the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine, Ms. Tariq Salmi as saying: “We congratulate the commando operation carried out by the resistance in the Jordan Valley.”

 The spokesman stressed that the resistance action is the way to respond to the aggression and the storming of the Holy Al-Aqsa Mosque, pointing out that the escalation of the resistance operations confirms that “the compass of the Palestinian people is clear and will not be distorted by all attempts aimed at preoccupying them with internal crises and secondary matters, and that our people will not accept compromise on any of their rights.”

 Salmi saluted the heroic Palestinian resistance fighters who continue to fight steadfastly despite the arrests and persecution they are subjected to.
