Education Ministry clarifies disbursement mechanism of incentives to workforce, teachers

SANAA, July 31 (YPA) – Teachers Support Fund held today a press conference to inform the public about the mechanism of disbursement of manpower and school workers for the current year 1445 AH.

“We directed the disbursement of an incentive for three months in a row. The disbursement has begun for teachers and volunteers,” Minister of Education Yahya Badr al-Din al-Houthi said during the conference:

He indicated that the disbursement is currently made to school workers in a total of 154699 schools with a total monthly amount exceeding 4.6 billion riyals.

Al-Houthi added,  “the percentage of disbursement of the school workforce during the first six days amounted to 73%.”

For his part, the Executive Director of the Teacher Support Fund, Hussein Amer, explained that the disbursement and guidance mechanism relied on the last disbursement process we made and added workers in the seam areas.

“ We are in the process of completing the data in order to disburse the incentives directly,”  he said.

He called on the education offices to correct the lists of new variables to benefit from the disbursement for this month and the rest of the months.
