Residents in Lahj find explosive device planted inside Mosque

LAHJ, July. 30 (YPA) – Local residents of the city of Al-Houta in Lahj province, southern Yemen, found on Sunday an explosive device planted in a popular neighborhood.

The explosive device was planted inside a carton of milk in Al-Dawla Mosque neighborhood in the city, after being prepared for remote detonation, the residents said.

During the past three days, the province of Lahj has witnessed unprecedented tensions between the UAE-backed armed factions in the areas near Bab al-Mandab Strait.
