Angry popular rally in Sanaa denounces burning of Noble Quran

SANAA, July 24 (YPA) – The Yemeni capital, Sanaa, witnessed on Monday afternoon a mass rally denouncing the repeated burning of the Noble Quran copies in Sweden and Denmark.

The rally came out with a statement denouncing the repeated crimes of burning the Holy Quran copies that occur in Sweden and Denmark, describing these crimes as “heinous.”

The statement emphasized that the Jewish lobby is standing behind these malicious crimes and that Western governments have accepted themselves to be an obedient tool in the hands of global Zionism, which seeks to spread all kinds of corruption in the world.

“The Western and Jewish hatred of Islam and Muslims is a reality that manifests itself in every era, and with these crimes, all Western claims about democracy and freedom of expression fall,” the statement said.

The statement expressed the Yemeni people’s outrage at these crimes, stressing that “the Yemeni people would not refrain from any work available to support Allah, His Messenger, His Book, and Islamic sanctities.”

The statement confirmed the boycott of Swedish and Danish goods, calling on the governments of Sweden and Denmark to apologize to all Muslims and pledge not to grant licenses for burning Holy Quran copies again.
