Parliament Speaker congratulates counterparts on new Hijri year

SANAA, July 18 (YPA) – Speaker of the Parliament, Yahya Ali Al-Ra’i, sent on Tuesday cables of congratulations to the Speakers of Parliaments in the Arab and Islamic countries not participating in the war against Yemen, on the occasion of the anniversary of the Prophet’s migration and the new Hijri year 1445 AH.

In the cables, the Parliament Speaker expressed his wishes to the Speakers of Parliament for good health and for the parliamentary relations between Yemen and the country of each of them further development and growth.

He recalled the suffering of the Yemeni people after nine years of war and siege and their repercussions on the citizens’ lives in light of the continued plundering of Yemen’s wealth and capabilities, and the deprivation of its sons from benefiting from it in paying the salaries of state employees and improving services in all provinces of the Republic.

Al-Rahi demanded pressure on the Saudi-led coalition countries to respect the will of the Yemeni people and not to interfere in their internal affairs and to stop plundering and wasting their wealth and capabilities, praying to Allah Almighty to return this occasion to the sons of the Arab and Islamic nation with goodness and blessings.
