WORLD, July 18 (YPA) – Warships of Russia’s Pacific Fleet, headquartered in Vladivostok will participate in the joint Russian-Chinese naval exercises “Northern/Interaction-2023”, the country ministry of defense said in a statement.
According to the statement, a group of warships from the Pacific Fleet left Vladivostok to participate in the joint Russian-Chinese naval exercise “Northern/Interaction-2023”, which will take place in July in the waters of the Sea of Japan.
The Russian Navy is represented at the exercises by two large anti-submarine ships, “Admiral Tributs” and “Admiral Panteleev”, two cruisers “Grimyashi” and “Hero of the Russian Federation” Aldar Tsidenshapov, the statement read.
Earlier, four warships and a support ship for the Chinese naval forces left the port of Qingdao for the exercise area.
