157 people killed, wounded in various violations inside coalition-held areas

ADEN, July. 14 (YPA) – About 157 people killed have been and wounded, most of them civilians, in various areas that the coalition factions under the control of the in southern and eastern Yemen since last June.

A report stated that the coalition factions carried out nearly 12 kidnappings and arbitrary arrests, in addition to 13 armed raids and robberies of citizens’ homes and property, and two cases were torture to death in Aden and the rest of the southern and eastern provinces.

The report confirmed that the rest of the areas under the control of the Islah Party factions loyal to the coalition in Marib province recorded 41 citizens killed and wounded as a result of 5 violations by the factions, while Shabwa province witnessed 29 incidents of violation and armed assault, resulting in 17 deaths and 12 injuries, including 3 were killed in a run-over accident by a military vehicle affiliated with the coalition, according to “26 September.net” website in Sanaa.

The districts of Abyan witnessed 19 acts of chaos and armed violations, distributed among the crimes of looting of citizens, including cars belonging to the government loyal to the coalition, all of which resulted in the death and injury of 22 people, most of whom were killed due to the confrontations and armed clashes with the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s factions or by explosive devices, in addition to finding the body of a citizen got killed in Jabal Lahbush area, and another one was killed and his car was looted during the blessed Eid Al-Adha in Jear area, according to the report.

It indicated that the city of Aden has seen an unprecedented security chaos, which led to killing and wounding 20 people, including two girls, as part of 44 various violations, including murder, armed assault, kidnapping, arbitrary arrest, confiscation of rights and torture to death, in addition to crimes of assaulting shops belonging to citizens of the northern province, which caused one of the merchants to set himself on fire in protest against these violations.

About 16 citizens were killed and wounded in 32 violations in the areas under the control of the coalition factions in Taiz, including a member of the factions threw a bomb in the middle of a popular market, killing civilian one and injuring 6 others, in addition to 3 kidnappings and two robbery operations that one of leaders in the factions funded by the coalition carried out.

In the province of Lahj, which is under the control of the UAE-backed factions, the number of victims of the security chaos has reached nearly 15 dead, including 6 Africans and a citizen who was slaughtered after throwing stones at him, and wounded, in addition to the academic at the University of Sanaa, Dr. Ali Ahmed Lutf Al-Zubairi, while he was passing through the Habilain area, after his return from the Egyptian capital, Cairo, and his departure from Aden airport towards Sanaa.

In Dhalea, the report indicated that 12 people were killed and injured as a result of 8 violations, in addition, recording the crimes to demolish about 200 shops of merchants from the northern provinces in Sanah market, and the destruction of their goods under regional claims by leaders of the UAE-funded factions.

In Hadramout also witnessed two murders and a kidnapping crime.

While two crimes to stealing pieces of internet cables were monitored in Mahra province.

The report pointed out that the high level of organized crime resulting from the security chaos as a result of the absence of state authorities in those areas since the second half of 2015 and the spread of armed gangs loyal to leaders of the coalition factions, represented a direct threat to security and social peace among the people of those governorates by fueling tribal conflicts by the leaders of the armed factions funded by the coalition.
