Citizen killed, 8 injured in traffic accident in Taiz

TAIZ, July 06 (YPA) – A citizen was killed and eight others were injured on Thursday as a result of a terrible traffic accident on one of the bumpy roads between Lahj and Taiz provinces in southern Yemen.

According to local sources, a small bus carrying passengers overturned on the “Al-Suha Kraba” road linking Lahj and Taiz provinces, which led to the death of one person and the injury of eight others, some of whom are in critical condition.

The sources pointed out that the accident occurred as a result of the narrow road after the closure of Naqil Haijat al-Abd Road by the Saudi-led coalition factions and the diversion of transit traffic via this narrow road about a month ago.
