Son of prominent sheikh killed in Shabwa

SHABWA, July 05 (YPA) – Son of a prominent sheikh was killed on Tuesday by unknown gunmen in Shabwa province, southeast Yemen.

Local sources reported that the son of Sheikh Hussein bin Alawi bin Jariba al-Harithi was killed in front of their house in Wadi Balharith in Usaylan district.

This comes hours after the killing of three people from the same family in Al-Saeed district and in light of unprecedented deterioration of  security  in Shabwa governorate.
