Hamas, Islamic Jihad laud ‘heroic operation’ in Tel Aviv

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, July 05 (YPA) – The Palestinian Hamas resistance movement praised Khalaila’s retaliatory attack in Tel Aviv and said the “heroic operation” was a response to the Zionist regime’s killings in Jenin.

“This heroic operation is a legitimate self-defense against the ongoing Zionist massacre in Jenin, and the crimes of displacement, killing and destruction committed by the occupation forces,” Hamas said in a press statement.

“Our people’s resistance will continue and escalate, and it will diversify its tools and expand its area, in revenge for the blood of the martyrs and to protect the blessed al-Aqsa Mosque from Judaization schemes,” the statement added.

Khaled al-Batsh, a member of the politburo of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad resistance movement, extolled the “heroic and qualitative operation carried out by a resistance fighter in Tel Aviv as the resistance’s first and natural response to what is happening in Jenin.”

The occupation will fail to achieve its goals in Jenin, Batsh said.

He added that “The aggression against Jenin will not succeed in breaking the will of our Palestinian people or eliminating the resistance in the West Bank.”
