Over 1.3 million “Pregabalin” capsules destroyed in Amran

AMRAN, June 26 (YPA) –The Public Prosecution destroyed on Monday 1,388,820 narcotic pills of “Pregabalin” type in Amran province.

The Violations Prosecutor, Judge Hafedh Abu Hatem, praised the security vigilance and the efforts of the security men and the Anti-Narcotics Unit Department in seizing this quantity of drugs.

Lieutenant Colonel Hamid Khater, Director of the Anti-Narcotics Unit Department, indicated that these drugs were seized during an attempt to smuggle them to neighboring countries, which were coming from the areas controlled by the Saudi-led coalition forces.
