ADEN, June 23 (YPA) – The head of the Southern Civil Forces Rally, Abdul Karim al-Saadi, confirmed that the regional policy pursued by the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) has worked to tear apart the social fabric in Yemen’s southern and eastern governorates.
“Those who contributed with their abnormal behaviors and regional orientations to the creation of causes and justifications that tore the southern national and social fabric,” al-Saadi said, adding, “It is not permissible to be surprised by the results produced by these behaviors.”
Al-Saadi pointed out that the disintegration of the southern provinces and their refusal to subordinate to the “STC” came in response to the attempts of some to turn back the wheel of southern history.
This comes after the so-called “Hadramout Council”, which was announced last Tuesday in the Saudi capital Riyadh, was sharply attacked by STC leaders and activists.
